  1.     The file menu has all the options for file input and out.$
  2. From here you can select the image to load, where to save the$
  3. current image, get information about an image, change the DMC$
  4. file to use,change the configuration of the machine, either  $
  5. permenantly or temporary and exit from the program. The 11   $
  6. options are:$
  7. $
  8.        LOAD GIF FILE$
  9.        LOAD XSTICH FILE$
  10.        INFORMATION ABOUT GIF$
  11.        INFORMATION ABOUT XTS$
  12.        SAVE CURRENT PATTERN(XTS)$
  13.        SAVE AS GIF FILE$
  14.        QUIT (NO SAVE)$
  15.        SAVE(XTS) & EXIT$
  16.        SELECT DMC DATA FILE$
  17.        CHANGE CONFIGURATION$

  19.      The LOAD, SAVE and INFORMATION options use the current $
  20. working directory.  Changing this directory will change the place$
  21. where all future file loads, saves and information will be made. $
  22. The DMC DATA FILE option uses the dmc working directory. This may$
  23. or may not be the same as the working directory.  The CHANGE $
  24. CONFIGURATION option allows you to change the graphics resolution$
  25. of the monitor, the maximum image height and width and the $
  26. spacing for the dashed lines. The maximum hieght X the maximum $
  27. width cannot exceed the largest amount of free memory. This $
  28. informationcan be saved and will then be the default $
  29. configuration, or it can set for just the current session.$
